兩條路岔開在黃樹林裡，可惜我不能兩條都走，身為過客，我久久佇立，向著一條路極目望去，直到它彎進灌木叢裡頭；
我選了另一條，同樣不差，並且說不定更值得一試，因為它綠草蔓生，乏人踩踏；雖然論旅人足跡的多寡，兩條路委實難分軒輊，
而且那天早上它們同樣滿覆尚未被腳步踩黑的葉片。啊，我把第一條留待他日！但我明白路與路綿延無數，我恐怕難有機會重返原點。
我會長嘆一聲將此事述說，在很久很久以後的某地：兩條路岔開在樹林裡，而我——我選擇人跡較少的那條走過，竟讓眼前的一切有如此差異。
